Greenway Trail

The Greenway in the River Arts District or RAD is a great place to get some outdoor cursing or test your cardio with some speed! The most skater friendly section of the Greenway is the Wilma Dykeman Greenway - you'll find skaters, joggers and bicyclist enjoying the view of the French Broad River.

Jake Rusher Park

While technically in Arden, Jake Rusher Park has a great fenced in Basketball Court that makes roller skating outside a breeze. The surface of the basketball court is really great for outdoor skating, it's level, smooth and not typically crowded. The best times to skate this court is early to mid morning.

Bill Moore Community Park aka Fletcher Park

Paved trails are shared by everyone at this park! The paved trail makes a loop around the activity areas of the park. The trail is wide enough for trail goers to pass each other with ease. The surface of the paved trail is well maintained with minimal hills.
